I have a question about the beautiful, lavish campaign map provided in the boxed set. The map depicts the Prosna river which runs slightly to the west of Kalisz on the map... I think that must be a bit of artistic license since the river in fact runs through the center of the city (probably more of it is on the west side of the river in fact than on the east side).

My real question though is not the course of the river but its significance. The hydrography of Poland is not exactly my area of expertise. Is the Prosna really all that big? The lovely map makes it look practically the size of the Warta, which we all probably know is only behind the Wisla and the Oder in terms of size. Does the Prosna really warrant such a footprint on the map? The pictures of the Prosna that I have seen make it look like you could almost jump across. How fordable is it? The Warta by contrast definitely requires a boat or a bridge.

I haven't been to these places but I'd be interested to hear from someone who has seen them firsthand.

In summary, it's not very wide. You could easily swim across it and it would be spannable by mechanised bridge-laying vehicles in some places.
