Hi,

I have the command skill and want to help someone with their task using the comman skill. Do I still need one point in the skill they are using?

According to RAW, I would say yes. It's not cristal clear, but it seems that Command lets you replace an automatic +1 bonus for the number of successes on the Command roll.

But I would say you often need GM fiat to rule this in game, since roleplay and the situation can sometimes override this.
