Why doesn't Merigall have any minstrel talents?

Just wondering. So is Merigall more of a "pretend" minstrel?

Ultimately it isn't a minstrel like a PC or NPC would be. It's a demon. It's a demon that mimics in its skills a minstrel but I wouldn't say it could actually have a profession in the sense that the kin of The Forbidden Lands do.

I wondered that myself as well, but I rationalized it with simply the fact that he is a 'm'instrel, not a 'M'instrel.

Also Minstrel talent are mostly heal and buffs. As a demon, that's not really his wheelhouse.

The PCs will soon find that out while in combat! Lol.

By the way, did any of you let your players hear about Merigall's legend? If not, would you? Or would you not? On either case, why?

Yes, I let the minstrel tell the story, especially the bit about yellow eyed children, as they then suspected the minstrel was a child of the demon....
