That's not how it works in FBL though, as you can perform one slow and one fast action per turn, or two fast actions.I personally prefer WFRP's full and half action terminology. Says exactly what it means. Some actions use up half your turn, others use up the full turn. Two half actions make a full action. Doesn't get easier to grasp than that.
Yep, all good, but again this is part of the issue with the wording. I read those rules on Thursday, and on Friday I'm already mixing them up.That's not how it works in FBL though, as you can perform one slow and one fast action per turn, or two fast actions.
Thank you for the explanationFeedback is always welcome.
The reason for the change from MYZ is that we thought it would be less confusing this way. Also, there is no clear difference between fast and slow actions (apart from them being fast/slow) to motivate having different terms for them. Finally, this way we can use the term "actions" to encompass all actions, instead if the cumbersome "actions and maneuvers".
I guess that raises another question, would it not be easier to just say that characters can perform two actions in a turn, especially as a turn now takes up to a minute. Some of the fast actions such as shove and disarm, feel no different to an attack?Feedback is always welcome.

A round can be up to one minute - or it can be mere seconds or a longer time. That’s what I read in the rules. And the difference between Fast and Slow Actions is that you can take two Fast Actions and not two Slow - besides you have access to a special ability like a talent. If you take this away you can always attack twice and I think that’s not supposed to happen.I guess that raises another question, would it not be easier to just say that characters can perform two actions in a turn, especially as a turn now takes up to a minute. I am sure that I will get used to whatever term sticks for this, especially once this becomes my weekly game, and i am happy to hear other players are less confused.
