I have a book by Herman Hofberg called, SWEDISH FAIRY TALES - Legends of Trolls, Elves, Fairies & Giants. I consider it an invaluable resource for story seeds, locations, names and on capturing the dangerous, topsy turvy logic of the Vaesen.
I highly recommend it. Any other suggestions for further reading here would be appreciated.
