question about "intuition"

Wed 02 Jul 2025, 10:52

While playing, we found ourselves in front of an NPG who was telling us something and a character wanted to try to understand if he was lying or not! Unlike D&D, there is no ability, like intuition, to use! We thought of a test opposed between the NPG's Cheat and the PC's intelligence test!
It made sense until we saw that there is a heroic ability, PERSPECTIVE, that allows - precisely - to do it!
So the question is: the idea of the opposed roll will be good but not "valid"!?

It's somewhere between willpower and charisma. Willpower seems a devoted magic stat, I would probably use Charisma here. I am basically using charisma as luck in my own game.

If there is a HA that gives you the ability to do so that means you would not be able to do it without it. Otherwise the HA Insight would e useless if any oe can make a roll to tell if someone was lying.

INSIGHT
✦ Requirement: Persuasion 12
✦ Willpower Points: 2
If you talk a while with another person, you can roll
AWARENESS to determine whether that person is telling
the truth. You cannot tell exactly what a person is
lying about.
