Hi!

As an Alien Evolved backer, I think it would be really nice to be able to buy the Chariot of the Gods content for Foundry VTT as an independent separate module. This way, if I want to GM it I wouldn't have to buy the whole Alien Starter Set from the 1st edition.

Foundry VTT CotG can be bought in the shop or am I missing what this thread is all about?

For clarity, the Chariot of the Gods module is only available stand-alone as a PDF (from Drive-in RPG). The module in print comes only with the first edition starter set, the Evolved edition comes with a different module (an expanded version of Hope's Last Day, originally from the first edition core rulebook). To get the CotG module in Foundry you have to buy the entire first edition starter set module.

People are asking (as I would also like) to be able to buy the module only since I already have the core rules module for Foundry. It would be mostly convenience since I already own the boxed original starter set and the PDF. A pre-made Foundry module would mostly save a lot of typing and conversion of PDF maps to Foundry format. Since the module exists in Foundry already as part of the starter set, it would seem like the appropriate data and assets exist and would just have to be exported.

The Chariot of the Gods is one of the most showcased scenarios of the Alien RPG system in various You-tube channels and podcasts. It is a scenario that has drawn attention as the games basic agenda structure is so well introduced just to name one great thing about the scenario.
I really hope that Chariots of the Gods will be a part of the whole Alien RPG Evolved Edition scenario family. It strikes me as very odd if the first scenario of the Draconis Strain trilogy should not be accessible (and that easily) to the loyal and upcoming fans of this TTRPG.

Elderrune, I know this isn't what you asked. But it's still related. I recently replayed the Chariot of the Gods cinematic with my usual players, and I made the (unofficial) Evolved version maps.

This seems to be taking awfully long for the fine people at Free League. The current situation makes literally no sense. You can buy Parts 2 and 3 VTTs, but not 1!!?? If it's going to take that long, at least give us access to the legacy version VTT material and let us make the necessary conversion. I find it ridiculous I want to spend money on one of your products but you literally won't let me.

JavierM-UK, I suggest you contact Free League customer service to get the answers you're looking for. The customer service representatives will be able to answer your questions about the Chariot Of The God VTT product. They can tell you when you'll have access to what you're looking for, along with the reasons for the delay.
