Hey erveryone
I have a question, is there a alternativ dice format for outgunned? For example normal D6. which symbol would be which number?

I guess you are talking about the so called "special action dice". The various symbols on that doesn't represent a specific number. The goal is just to get two of a kind, three of a kind, etc. Any kind of dice out there which have six different sides can be used, including ordinary d6s. There might be dice from other games that have six different symbols on them or six different colours on them that can be used instead.

I agree the numbers don't mater its just matches. But on page 79 Ways to fail with style.
It shows four of the symbols related to failure types. ( The other two symbols are not mentioned)
I was wondering if this relates to the failure match ? or is this just some means to remember the type of failure options.
The symbols are used throughout the book, but are not listed in one place with a description. They seem to be just fluff ?
