Armour Rating of inanimate objects

Mon 24 Jul 2023, 10:02

Looking through the rules, on p46 it states that hitting an inanimate object is automatically successful, just roll for damage - but that objects will often have an armour rating.
Also the Master Carpenter heroic ability allows a character to inflict d12 damage (per 3WP) on a door, wall, or any other inanimate object, ignoring the object’s armor rating.
But I can’t find any mention of what typical armour ratings would be for a door, wall, or any other object. I guess this would be down to the GM but would be good to get a little guidance of typical values.
Based on armour is a wooden door as strong as studded leather armour (AR2) or bit stronger AR3?
What’s everyone’s thoughts?
[edit] also I guess each object must have a HP as the carpenter ability applies damage directly to it ignoring AR

In the various adventures, doors and such have armour rating.
