Any schedule for upcoming Alien releases?

Mon 27 Feb 2023, 19:47

I thought there was going to be support for trucker and colonist campaigns, but the last several e-mails I’ve received from Fria Ligan have been, shall we say, “bereft” of information regarding the Alien line.

It is very unlikely that any publisher will drop news in emails to random fans.

What has been confirmed, however -- (i.e., make sure you follow their YouTube channel, for instance) -- is that Building Better Worlds, the colonists & explorers book, will release sometime this year. IIRC, a space trucker sourcebook is scheduled for further down the line. Gaska (or was it Härenstam? I can't remember) have also talked about further cinematic adventures, although I don't think there has been any info on how far along those are.

They’ve dropped me news multiple times the last few weeks in regards to:
The Walking Dead
The Lord of the Rings
DragonBane
Pirate Borg
Zone Wars
Tales from the Loop
Symbaroum
Forbidden Lands
Coriolis
Twilight 2000

There’s been a distinct lack of Signal in regards to Alien, which as a licensed property also has a limited timespan that the license is in effect for. An extension could be made, but the clock is always ticking on any licensed property. Alien has the potential to be a very detailed setting, but currently the materials published are focused on cinematic scenarios and the marines. Both of those are useful, but there’s so much more to explore.

A book on colonist and explorers would be cool, as would one dealing with the whole space trucker-cargo hauling industry. My players are basically space truckers.

There have been quite a stream of ready to play mini-adventures included in the last 3 or so published Alien novels, not sure everyone is aware of them. I had the impression this was set to continue for some time.

Has there been any review/feedback regarding these mini-adventures?

Not to mention the novels themselves?
