Hi, how does the Bone Mask in the Altar Room work please ? The description states :
"The mask protects the wearer with PROTECTOR (power level 2) and PERMANENCE. It draws WP from its wearer"

The Protector spell has a Duration of shift - so does this mean that the mask will automatically drain the wearer of 2WP every shift ? That would mean it would draw 8WP per day from them, if available.

Or does it only activate when the wearer is attacked - at which point the mask activates, draws 2WP from the wearer and protects them for a shift ?

Or does the wearer have to manually trigger the spell in the mask, meaning they would have to spend an action to trigger the spell before it was needed ?
