Inferno's Fall / Evac - What Setting Year?

Tue 27 Dec 2022, 10:39

Does anyone have a reference to which year of the Alien universe the Inferno's Fall novel / Evac scenario occurs?

I cannot find any internal reference other than "a year after LV-083" listed in a pre-gen character bio.

My guess coming after Colony War would be late 2186 or maybe into 2187.

Hoping someone knows something definitive / canon.

I just found this ...

The Jackals were a military brigade, secretly formed in 2145 by three generals, whose sole purpose was to eradicate Xenomorphs from the universe under the leadership of Colonel Zula Hendricks ...

so it's after year 2145 ...

With the release of Enemy of My Enemy - I have an answer of sorts to my question of when Inferno's Fall was set.

Colony War is set in 2186 and Enemy of My Enemy is set in July 2187.

With Inferno's Fall set between them, then at least its bracketed.

Now my next nagging question is how to rectify the timeline between The Frontier War in the Colonial Marines Operation Manual ... and events in Enemy of My Enemy.

But ... no spoilers here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Think Trojan Horse might be a reimagined Assault on Lamont Station Prime.
