I hope Free League keeps Alien: Earth out of the rpg, the show is getting worse and worse.

The way I see it there's 2 ways it could go:
1) they include it and those, like yourself, who don't like it, can elect to not use that material, or;
2) They do not include it and those, like myself, who enjoy it will make some fan product (possibly making it available via Free League Workshop) to include it in their home game.

Both are valid position and both are valid course of action.

That's an excellent answer, Boneguard. We need to remain inclusive of both the members of this forum who don't like ALIEN EARTH and those who do (moderator comment launched subtly into the clouds). Thanks again for your response, Boneguard.

Personally, if you ask me, I wasn't a huge fan of the films PROMETHEUS & COVENANT and FREE LEAGUE, and Andrew E.C. Gaska still integrated everything into the machine. There are things I like and things I don't like in these two Ridley Scott films. As Boneguard said, it's up to each Game Mother to take or not. It would be very surprising if the ALIEN EARTH universe wasn't integrated. The show is produced by FX & 20th Century Studios, which are part of Disney.

But we'll see.

Kirsh and Hermit don't seem to know that FTL has been around for almost 90 years.

I wonder if Kirsh is not a WY plant?

He's aware about Morrow's plan and action and episode 6 almost make it seem like he wants WY or Morrow to succeed.

That's an excellent point, AWSaber, Alien RPG core rulebook PDF P.150. FTL travel is established in 2034 by Weyland. Alien Earth takes place in 2120. Alien 1979 takes place in 2122. FTL has therefore been established for 86 years. Excellent point, AWSaber.

P.S. Regarding the conversation between Kirsch and Hermit, I think Kirsch was talking about the progress of the FTL work, not the invention. Wendy might improve FTL in the future. At least, that's how I understood the scene.

I just listened to episode 6. Wow, interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the xenomorph's growth stages. It's interesting. Chaos is coming...

Nolnah93 and Boneguard, you bring up a really important point, and I think Kirsch does indeed have anti-human sentiments, like David. He may even be a Hyperdyne Systems 120-A/2 (like Ash) manufactured by Hyperdyne Systems Corporation (but perhaps purchased by Prodigy).

He definitely seems to be a sleeper agent... by Weyland-Yutani... or some other corporation... Has his behavior chip been removed?

Honestly not having FTL would be the only thing that would explain the Maginot mission taking so stupidly long. Of course with out FTL they don't have the time to get to LV-426 so the face huggers would have to be from somewhere else. Hell the Prometheus would still be in transit to LV-223 when Ripley blows up the Nostromo.
