I also notice that the stats in chapter 5 for the Armat Model 37A2 12 Gauge Pump action includes "Armor +1" which is missing from the table in the back of the book. I suspect that it was meant to be omitted, since adding +1 to armor doesn't make any sense (why not just lower the damage?), unless the intent is that the +1 only applies if the target has at least some armor on (which still seems silly).
The ammo assumed is shot rounds, which is less effective against armor. So, yeah, the "+1" only applies if armor is worn.
