I backed because I had always dreamed of one day trying to run a Twilight 2000 campaign, but the idea of a character creation worksheet to handle the math for it all scared my group of players away from wanting to play it. But, with a more modern, more streamlined system, I thought that maybe there was a chance that they might want to try the new version of the game instead.

I bought this game after I saw an ad for it in Dragon Magazine, back in 1984. Love the setting and have played it off and on since. My "handle" is actually from a 2004 campaign I started where the members of the party started out as a US Marine recon unit, "Recon 3-5". Interestingly, I got into miniatures wargaming while looking for suitable miniatures to use in the campaign.

Backed it out of nostalgia for those long game sessions in the late 80's
