It's interesting because it's an Alien product, and I'm never going to speak against something I want to see. There are several things that annoyed me, though (first and foremost, the synthetic children). They could all die and I wouldn't mind keeping only Wendy, hahaha! ...

Episode 4 or 6 on the ship (flashbacks of the action on the ship) was, in my opinion, a masterpiece. The recreations of the Nostromo's sets were done by people who loved the original, and it shows. A lot of respect for the original film at that point.

The Xenomorphs are a bit dim-witted at the end, or I should say "controllable," and I don't like that aspect at all. In my mind, Xenomorphs are like the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park; once the barriers are breached, they become uncontrollable, and it should be the same for the Xenomorphs. There are things that go against the grain. These are things established in previous films that fans "demand" be kept and cherished. When stories don't respect the rules established by the cult films of the past, there's reason to ask questions.

I know, the girl talks to them (xenomorphs) blah blah in her head, but who cares about that aspect. I did like Wendy, though. But I have no idea what her character-driven nature is, or where it's going to be, I really don't know...

There are good and bad points (hahah!) in this series. But, I want to see season 2, definitely.

I think Wendy is the defacto Queen to the 2 Xenomorphs, she has been communicating with them from 'birth' and i think they see her as their queen. I think they are definately more feral than 'domesticated' as they are shown.

The other alien species are neat! As a GM, I want to raid the DnD Monster Manual for creatures that would covert thematically over to the Aliens universe, and the series has lit a creative fire in me a bit.

I think the series failed in the timeline placement, as I think 2110 is too early, especially if the WY ship had been gone for 65 years! The Synth Hybrid tech feels like something that should take place further on ion the timeline, but I can live with it as a prototype tech.

Noah Hawley, honestly, I think, doesn't give a damn about the timeline or fan-easter eggs. There's no point in analyzing everything in depth because we'll just find Alien DNA errors. His Alien work does include several DNA elements from Alien, but he does his own thing. The timeline doesn't work, the ship classes don't work, and many other aspects don't work either, but we have to accept it as it is without thinking too much about it. James Cameron said... "It's great creative recombination in action, but with its own swerve..." It's still an Alien product, and I'm going to follow it without fail.

Absolutely nothing fits to the canon... The timeline, the other corporations, the technology, the lore, nor even the very plot... It's essentially a fanmade crossover featuring the Xeno as a guest star, not very different in concept from "Buffy: vampire slayer vs Alien".

Johan Menasis, hahahahah! ... My God ... I agree with what you're saying, but the words you use are ... brutal hahahahah! ... Noah Hawley is a black sheep who managed to get his project approved by Ridley Scott (whereas Neill Blomkamp failed, and even Fede Alvarez—regarding his departure from directing *Alien: Romulus 2* due to those famous "creative differences"—was shown the door by Ridley Scott).

We got a great episode featuring the *Nostromo* set. It was a thing of pure beauty for fans, and the producers clearly put a lot of love into it, but the rest ... no comment...

Comparing it to *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* ... My God ... hahahahah! ... I honestly struggle to understand how Ridley Scott gave the green light to all this project. I genuinely don't get it ... anyway ... I’m going to watch *Alien: Earth* all the way through because it’s an *Alien* project, and I feel I have to see it. There are bound to be interesting elements in Season 2; I can’t believe otherwise.
