The Resilience talent says whenever you "would" take damage to your Health. It converts it into stress beforehand, so if taking the stress results in no damage left, then the GM would not roll on the critical injuries table (and the character would take no damage). If the character didn't have enough Resolve to convert all the damage, then whatever damage remains would be the number added to the D6 when rolling on the critical injuries table.
Makes sense! How would Resilience interact with a Double Damage stunt, then? Double Damage doubles the damage from the attack, before reduction for Armor.
Would this mean that FIRST I calculate final damage, then I convert some of it into Stress (using Resilience); or first I convert some of the (base) Damage to Stress, and only the remaining Damage becomes Damage, which can be doubled? (Because this is not reduction for Armor).
