Alpha feedback suggestion

The chapter by chapter feedback is great - might be good to have one for the book/layout etc. Looks blummin gorgeous by the way - even with the art placeholders. Very easy to read.
I got the Alpha PDF just now and am I missing a character sheet somewhere in there?

(Delete if I'm an idiot!)

Re: Mixing it up....Attributes and Skills

Can’t see any negatives for the system and only positives for the narrative. So I’ll houserule it.

Re: Rules Update: 2e Character Creation Walkthrough

Do we have a pre-release copy of the character sheet yet?

Re: One Ring Old Timers

Thanks Sebastian and HunterGreen. I can't find the rules entry in my book though. (Adventurers or Loremasters?).

Glad to se they're useful for something though.

One Ring Old Timers

Hey folks I know some of you have years of experience with TOR1e. And some experience on how that will translate in 2e. I have questions. 1. Specialities in 1e. They had no game effect? Right? And have been removed in 2e? 2. Favoured attributes in 1e seemed like duplication. Is the new TN system and...

Mixing it up....Attributes and Skills

I kind assumed this was the case with TftL but doubly so with TOR.... I hadn't quite made the connection that the skills under Body...were Body Skills and the ones under Heart were Heart skills... I mean, surely it makes more sense that Awe (for example) can be used with Body, Heart or Wits? Have I ...

Re: T2000 Variant Campaigns

Took place in modern day but with everything falling apart. although to do that with this iteration you would need to indroduce a more complex skill tree to allow more character development I. The civilian side. Good call. I posted elsewhere about allocating one of the Skill ranks to a Professional...

Re: Player Narrative and Player Tactical Control

If memory serves I am the author of the quote (and I have also played Phoenix Command :)) ... As a result I am prepared to allow player initiative and die rolls to help shape what happens in the game. However that is just me and everyone can run their TW campaigns how they want. Yup. Did you find P...

Re: Player Narrative and Player Tactical Control

Yeah, I get that. The irony being that narrativist approaches are more likely to be realistic compared to simulationist because rules models, no matter their crunch, are models. I understand some people love having a rule for everything (Look, I've done my time with Phoenix Command :o ). More rules,...

Player Narrative and Player Tactical Control

Riffing off this post.... Most of the people I play RPGs with have a military background (as do I) but it allows you to quickly adjudicate situations like "how can I cross this obstacle while remaining in cover?" Make a roll = 2 successes, ok you notice a open drain cover so you can use th...
