Any word on Ruins of the Lost Realm?

Sat 06 Aug 2022, 12:22

Hi folks. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but it has been somewhat quiet when it comes to The One Rings news lately.
I was wondering if there is any word now on the print version of The Ruins of the Lost Realm.

I've been shelving The One Ring lately, in waiting for more news about future releases. Trying to find the inspiration to run it again.
However, I'm bringing my collector's edition with me to New Zealand later this year, where I will travel the country for three weeks, and I will make a point of reading it in "Hobbiton", "Edoras" and "Dimholt Road". If that doesn't inspire me, nothing will! :D

There was a secondary source that claims they intend to release it to retail in October, but they don't cite a source and I've seen no primary source, so I am not sure if it's inside information or wild speculation.

Ruins of the Lost Realm: AUM from Fria Ligan was for these to be sent to Kickstarter backers in August, so hopefully at some point this month or arrive next month given shipping times. So an October general release would fit?

From an interview earlier this year a book of adventures is the next thing planned, although I don’t think I had been formally announced yet.

Hope this helps! :)

Well it's August 22 already and no shipping notice yet. I've only briefly glanced at my pdf since I much prefer the hard copy. Hopefully it will come soon, but we've got a couple other adventures in the Bree area before we venture further afield anyhow.

An update has just been posted regarding Ruins and dice fulfilment:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/11 ... ts/3589849

TLDR: The ships carrying the product are currently on route, UK is due in port today (23/8), EU is due in on 31/8 and US hopefully within a week.

Good! Maybe I'll actually get mine here in the U.S. before our change of address! We will still be here until the end of October.

I'm getting excited to receive the physical book! The maps and artwork are fantastic. Of course, we didn't get concrete news of when the stock would arrive in the US, just a note that on September 9 it was "about" to arrive to the warehouses. It's been a long process, but so worth the wait. Now I'm wondering what comes next!
