Re: Early Access Feedback - Core Rulebook Chapter 2

I was looking for more Specializations that set one Archetype apart from the other. As one person had stated, it seems like the Archetypes are build suggestions. I'd like to see additional Specialty choices for the Archetypes listed that are specific only to that Archetype.

Irasshai as a bird.

Maybe I'm just uncultured, but i have never heard the word "Irasshai". What I found on Google says it is basically "welcome" in Japanese, which doesn't seem like it fits with the sentence (Welcome as a bird?) or the surrounding text.

lófaszt

Again... maybe uncultured, but I had no idea what this means. Maybe replace with "dirt bag", "low life" or something more colorful since Google tells me it's means "horse dick" in Hungarian... or don't and give us Americans a chance to learn some Hungarian expletives

It's canon Streetspeak, direct from Gaff. Keep it!

Being a rookie lets you pick whatever you want archetype wise and not have to commit to anything outside of money and key item. Same with any of the age groups you aren't locked into them so they come off as suggested focuses instead of choices.

Premium cloths being part of the fixer do nothing, at least i haven't been able to find any listing for what they do. Suggest that they can add some kind of bonus that makes them worth picking a fixer to get along with making them costly so as to make it more difficult for others to easily be able to copy.

p. 029
DICE: As for attributes, ....
Using "As for" made me think you were contrasting Skills and Attributes. A better way to say it could be DICE: Like attributes" or "DICE: Simular to attributes."

Ah, I wasn't aware. Perfect for that archetype then.

p 41:
You’ve got rats in every gutter. Pigeons on every rooftop. Urchin in every port.
Use of parallelism in these 3 sentences demands that the last of these 3 read "Urchins in every port." Must be consistent with the preceding two sentences, else it sounds very bad.

Last sentence page 037
you can also suffer penalties depending on how many subsequent tests you have failed
Verb tense doesn't fit well with the word "subsequent". Either remove "subsequent" or change "have failed" to "fail"...or do both of those changes.
Or even replace "subsequent" with "previous".

Page 41 - The whole section on Cityspeaker needs a re-write in my view, it looks like the product of an experimental AI chatbot.

For example, "You know every lófaszt on a first-name basis, all to oust the worst and turn blind eyes to the rest."

I can't suggest an edit because I don't understand what it is trying to say. I'm starting to regret paying top dollar on Kickstarter, seeing text like this.
