What's the situation Mother

The PCs are awoken from hypersleep while still travelling at faster than light speeds. They are assembled on deck by CO Lieutenant Hope. "Marines, you are still FTL. You will not be returning to your freezers. We are in the GL-849 System. It's Pandora. We are missing 2 codebreakers from the Geholgod Institute (Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu). Their work is vital to operations across the Bordeline Region. Last week, the docs packed up their work and shoot their handlers for reasons unknown. Intel says they never left the GL-849 system. We think they are on the Morgan's Bluff Station, waiting for a transport. Their location was leaked and now UPP spies are sweeping for them. I'm sending you there with a special ops Sergeant Seax. She's in charge. You will take the Mantis El Diablo with the 1st Squad only. The 2nd Squad (Wright, Davydovich, Lees, Botos) are on standby. We still have paper work to do with them. Wright will take the opportunity to have the dead embryo removed from her. Don't let our codebreakers board just any transport and disappear. Secure them and their work. I want you ready for launch as soon as we go sublight", (says Lieutenant Hope).

Insertion and The Shuttle Deck

The Tambitam enters orbit. The PCs head for the Morgan's Bluff Station with the El Diablo. The Mantis docks to Deck E (Shuttle Deck) with a secured docking umbilical with the level airlock access. PCs get off the ship with Sergeant Seax. They go to the flight operator's Office. His name is Eddy. "I will notify station controller Carrie-Louise Wu of your arrival. We have passenger checkpoints at the spaceport deck (Deck C). Here is a list of people on board the station and at the Station Inn. We have checked and there are no Dr.Chalwa and no Dr.Liu here. There are security cameras monitoring all decks. You will have access to the files at the Security Office (Deck C). The next supply transport is due in 3 days. Here is a list of tickets sold", (says Eddy the flight Operator)."I need a team to review camera files. I want a spaceport inspection team. And we need a team to inspect the Station Inn", (says Sergeant Seax). "Lance and Matthews will go for the camera files. Seax, Tanya, Ricco, Arietta and me for the spaceport. Paxton and Jenette will inspect the Inn", (says Corporal Biehn). The El Diablo team remains on board (Wincott, Flowers, Perlman and Winona) as backups.

The spaceport Deck

Seax, Biehn, Tanya, Ricco and Arietta are going to Deck C Spaceport and they meet with station controller Wu on the concourse bay. She says she saw a man and a woman sneaking around suspiciously but she lost track of them. They were avoiding the security guards. They divide into 2 teams and inspect all offices, restaurants and markets. They find nothing.

The Morgan's Bluff Inn Deck

Paxton and Jenette arrive on Deck D Station Inn. They go to the lobby and meet Wallace the manager. They ask him if he saw anything strange. The only strange thing is the name of 2 guests (Mr. and Ms. Eosalmo). It's the name of the salmon-like fish that are a well sought-after food commodity on Pandora. "We'll go check it out", (says Paxton).

Paxton and Jenette arrive at the cabin door. A do-not-disturb light glows over the door. The lock is busted. They enter silently. Inside, it smells death. On the floor are the bodies of Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu, both their necks snapped. According to mission ID files, it's them. They inspect the room to avoid surprises. Paxton contacts the other teams. Jenette inspects the bodies further.

Liu wears a gold Geholgod Institute ring. Chawla's finger looks like he wore a similar ring for decades but it's missing. They have been dead less than a day. There are no papers, no discs or computers. Their work is not here. A flute lies under the bed. Jenette finds an android diagnostic kit there too. "Paxton, I think they had an android with them", (says Private Jenette).

Sergeant Seax and Corporal Biehn arrive a few moments later. Seax searches the military files of the 2 doctors but cannot find any information about a domestic android. Jenette is able to take 4 sets of fingerprints on the door and paper desk. 2 sets correspond to dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu. The other 2 sets are unknown to the military database.

Biehn asks Seax what she thinks of the flute. Seax says she'll keep it. We may find hidden clues. "There's not much more to do for tonight", (says Sergeant Seax). 2 cabins have been assigned to PCs and 1 cabin has been assigned to Sergeant Seax on Deck F (Operations Deck). Lance stayed at the security office reviewing the footage all night for clues.

Day 2 (middle of the night)

These's a knock on Biehn's cabin door in the middle of the night. Biehn opens the door. It's Lance. "Sorry to wake you up. I analyzed the video tapes and I identified the man and the woman who entered the room of the 2 doctors yesterday. They came out of the room after 20 minutes with a black vial in their hands", (says Lance). Lance pulls out 2 photos.

Tanya, Ricco and Arietta have just woken up and approach Biehn. "The problem is that I just saw the same 2 individuals enter Sergeant Seax's room at 2300 hours tonight. They came out after 20 minutes. I'm worried about Sergeant Seax", (says Lance). "Arietta, please go to Matthews, Paxton and Jenette's cabin and ask them to join us there right away okay", (says Biehn).

Biehn approaches Sergeant Seax's cabin. Ricco is next to him. Tanya is back. They pull out their guns. The lock is busted again. They enter. The living room light is open. Sergeant Seax is lying on the couch. Her eyes are black. Skin tissue deteriorates. She is in convulsion and respiratory failure.

Lance gives surgery gloves to Biehn. Don't touch her without the gloves. It's an infection. Lance calls the emergency services on the intercom. 3 glasses are placed on the table. Next to it the black vial is open. "Do not touch the vial anyone", (says Lance).

Medical team arrives. Doctor Williams is with them. Sergeant Seax is escorted back to the Medical Center quickly. It looks like an infection. I don't think it's fatal said Doctor Williams but we'll see tomorrow with the tests.




A security team arrives at the same time. I know where their cabin is said Lance (Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu killers). I followed them with the surveillance cameras. We're going right now, says Biehn. The station's security team assists them.

The security team approaches the cabin (reserved under the names of Ms.Annita and Mr.Salv). PCs are with the team. Silently they bypass the lock and open the door. The team is equipped with night vision goggles. When the lights are open, Annita and Salv in bed, have guns pointed at their heads. They are arrested and taken to a cell.

In the cabin, Biehn and Lance are looking for Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu's work. They find no papers. There are only $35000 dollars and 2 Norcomm QSZ-203 pistols. "These are Chinese guns. The standard weapons of the UPP. Those guys are UPP spies", (says Lance).

Annita & Salv

In the morning, PCs go to the cargo deck (Deck B) at the marshal's office in order to question the 2 UPP agents. Lance, Matthews, Tanya and Biehn are in the room with Annita and Salv. Paxton and Jenette returned to the Spaceport terminal (Deck C) to watch. Ricco and Arietta went to check on Sergeant Seax at the medical center.

"What was the black vial in Sergeant Seax's Cabin, poison. We've seen the videos and your fingerprints are everywhere. You went to the cabin of Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu. We have videos and fingersprints too. You killed them all. What have you done with the doctors' research", (says Biehn).

"It's android Maitland the murderer of the doctors. He was their assistant. We found nothing on their research. They had nothing but the black vial. We wasted our time here. Your Sergeant Seax is a blackguard agent. We got rid of her yes. Don't be silly, you are blackguard. And, you know about the black vial. We want diplomatic immunity. We are UPP ambassadors", (says Annita and Salv). "You are UPP spies and you will go in this cell", (says Sergeant Matthews).

The day passes. The android Maitland could not be found. Soldiers from high command came to pick up Sergeant Seax to take her to the HQ medical center.

Day 3 (Black Friday Sale)

The next morning, the supply transport arrives. People bustle in the spaceport terminal. Passengers are ready for boarding. PCs watch waiting passengers. PCs notice a smiling man patiently waiting in a queue, wearing a gold Geholgod Institute ring. It looks like the android Maitland. PCs take him to a private office for questioning. Maitland seems happy.

"Thank God. I know you're not blackguard or UPP. Dr.Chalwa and Dr.Liu are dead. They were killed by UPP agents Annita and Salv. I have safely placed the work of my masters in my internal memory. I destroyed everything and I'm running away from DEEP VOID", (says Maitland). "Why did you take Chalwa's ring, What is the black vial and What is DEEP VOID", (says Biehn).

"The ring is a gift from Chalwa. I may have killed them after all. I do not remember. The black vial belongs to my masters. It's a very powerful genetic liquid. It's the black death that DEEP VOID seeks. They are powerful people who control all governments. They are everywhere. They make these creatures out of this genetic fluid. These creatures are weapons of war. They are angels of destruction. I will help you find DEEP VOID. Keep me with you. Protect me, help me disappear", (says Maitland). "We will discuss it. For now, we'll take you secretly aboard our ship", (says Biehn). Biehn gives a helmet and military vest to Maitland. Ricco secretly brings him back on board.

The finale

The group packs their bags. They pay a last visit to the station controller Wu to thank her for the collaboration. They all return to the ship. They are ready to go. Captain Wincott comes to see PCs. "The android is inactive. His head was cut off. They left with his head. I have no idea who came on board and did this", (says Captain Wincott).
