I'm about to start a FL game using the basic outline for Isle of Dread (mainly because I play in a game set in the Raven Lands using Raven's Purge) and wish to minimize spoilers.

It'll certainly work well enough for a setting but there are some other types of terrain that aren't found in the core game (desert and jungle being the two main ones).

Does anyone know of Forbidden Lands encounter tables for those sorts of things? I mean worse case I can come up with something (the base D&D ones are just way to combat heavy).

For desert encounters there are a bunch in the unofficial Seraglio of the Scorpion Sultana adventure.

I don't know any jungle themed encounters for Forbidden Lands.
But if you want to build your own table there are some d100 tables that might give you inspiration. Example, more examples.
Just skip/tone down the pure combat encounters to a level more similar to that in the core books.
