Music for your TOR Sessions

Sun 30 Jan 2022, 13:11

What music do you use in your TOR Sessions?
I recently discovered QUEEN to be great for some situations. Especially as my players like Queen.

Here is how I match some QUEEN songs to special situations in my game:

Bout of Madness -> I'm Going Slightly Mad
Difficult Situation -> Under Pressure (feat. David Bowie)
Difficult Council -> You Don't Fool Me
A Chase -> Headlong
Very Good Stealth Manouver (Magic Success?) -> The Invisible Man
A hero steps forward / The Party agreed to a challenging goal -> One Vision
Begin of Battle -> We Will Rock You
Bringing down an important foe -> Another One Bites the Dust
Battle is won -> We Are the Champions
A Companion goes down! -> Who Wants To Live Forever
A Nazgul arrives -> Princes of the Universe
Treasure is found! -> I Want It All
One hero saving another hero -> You're My Best Friend
A magical success -> The Miracle

Does anyone have a link to where I could find this? A quick google/youtube search didn't turn up anything.

Stronghold, Dragon Age, Runescape, LOTRO, LOTR War in the North, Battle for Middle-earth, and some other misc tracks are my go-tos. The movie trilogy music's great too, but too overused for me.

You are welcome. All the Jon pieces are rather fitting for the setting.

Jon Hodgson is the main 1st edition illustrator, I don't think he's also the musician but I don't really know, this man is a homo universalis!

He is indeed - he wrote the six set pieces (and illustrated and edited) and is listed and credited as such:

Amazingly talented.
