Corruption and attunement

Quick question... concerning a magic item that causes permanent corrupton, if you get that corruption removed, does the item become un-attuned?

Thank you very much!!!!I would say it most likely works the other way... if you are somehow able to remove the permanent Corruption but still remain attuned to the magic item, the Corruption comes back very quickly. However, if you unattune to the magic item then the permanent Corruption from that item is no longer permanent and could be removed.
