So...how have you worked Grindbone and Ravenhole into the main plotline? The two seem fairly disconnected to the rest - there are none of the magic items there, nor really any NPC that connects clearly to any of the Key NPCs....? They seem...disconnected to the rest of the campaign?

How have you handled these?

Grindbone was written mostly as a possible base for adventuring.

Ravenhole could be connected to any other mission involving dwarves. Perhaps they want the swords back or are concerned about a specific ogre with unofficial connection to the royal family?

I plan to get one PC (or NPC they try to free) being send to Eye of the Rose with the three sisters. Besides, slavery is a big deal for the characters in my campaign. So they can act to free them and piss the rustbrothers off because they need a lot of slaves for sacrifice and so on. But yeah, it's not directly linked to the campaign.
