Still oft-topic, but FL wrote:

But yes, we will likely print more books fairly soon, with these typos fixed.
... and I don't have any more news about this than that.

Oh darn, now I am contributing to this off-topic hullabaloo  :?
Sorry, seemed like a good opportunity to ask. I'm thinking of picking up a copy of the game with the normal cover, but if I'm getting a second copy to compliment the anniversary edition, I'd like to get one with the fixes.

Joliet is incorrectly spelled Joilet in the book and on the map.

Thanks for this thread! :D

One I would like to add or be added:

Page 198

35 | Displacement drive malfunction | FTL rating halved

Correction: doubled

My understanding is that faster ships have lower ratings so a damaged drive should make journeys longer by doubling the number to make the ship half as fast.

Another point, though from what I've read this has been dealt with already. I saw reading through the doc:

Page 119
    M4A3 Service Pistol | Bonus +2

    Correction: +2

The correction would appear to be the same as the error if I'm not missing anything.

The error was in the sidebar. The correct info was in the table at the top of the page.

What about the GM screen? Does it need its own errata entry? Or is all the info in there completely accurate?

Combat Resolution Option
"You position yourself and get to exchange your initiative score (see page 87) with your enemy, taking effect next Round. You can’t go back to your earlier initiative."

How does this work with the various creatures that have 2 Initiative cards? Any ideas?

I'd exchange with one of the cards.

The reprint of the core alien rpg rule-book has most of the corrections.

So...I found an error in the latest print version of the core book.  In the action tables on page 88 "Start engine" is listed as a Slow action. In the descriptive text on page 113 it says "Starting a motorized vehicle is also a fast action."  I'm guessing "Start engine" should therefore be in the fast action chart (with similar caveats to doors/hatches in that you might have to first hotwire/hack/repair it so it's ready to start).
