Email newsletter

Between the two folks in my house (I don't think the cats have signed up to the Alien newsletter, but maybe... one of them was named Jonesy when he was adopted), there are three email addresses signed up for the ALIEN-RPG newsletter. Add a couple more from the playing group and none of us have received the initial issue/offering. I've seen a scattering of the same across the social boards.

Just a heads up to FL in case there's a subscription problem.

Hi! Sorry to hear it! Did you check spam/promotionn folders?

For gmail, checked Spam folder and "All Mail"... nothing. I even have FL as a known contact. :-(
My two other email addresses (an .edu and a posteo.net) don't have spam folders, only flags for questionable emails. But nothing in any of them.
We're sad Alien fans. ;)

EDIT:
If I change something in my newsletter profile, I receive an email notice of the change, but no newsletter.
Curiouser and curiouser.

Same here! Getting other Fria Ligan e-mails fine (from [email protected]), but no Alien newsletter :(

Thank you for the copy, Deep_Impact.  8-)

This has become a full blown mystery. I've asked a half dozen folks to subscribe to the list and not a one of them has gotten anything.

tell all of your friends to also sign up to this newsletter atALIEN-RPG.COM!
Ah, the cruel irony! :-)

EDIT:
I found the campaign email list archive page, so even if I miss the emails in the future, I know where they all hang out.  8-)

No. #2 – CINEMATIC GAMEPLAY:
https://mailchi.mp/b859195205f2/alien-r ... c-gameplay

I want to know if it´s a pure coincidence, that in the Novel "Nostromo" there is a General named Montero? The same name, the ship in the first cinematic has???
Seems to be an clever hommage for all the ships of the first two movies.

It's not coincidence. Alien(s) is littered with Conrad references. Sulaco & Narcissus, ... something from Lord Jim that escapes my brain just now...
Love that sort of thing in stories.

It's safe to say that the film references were a driving factor for me reading Nostromo in high school.
Decades later, I'd teach a class on literary references in popular film using Alien as a starting example point.

The third newsletter about Campaign Mode:
https://mailchi.mp/9ee49bbe5b27/alien-r ... paign-mode

Sounds good. Don´t know which Concept I prefer. Marines are too straight for me, I think I prefer Spacer Trucker. :)

Space Trucker, for sure.  8-)

I like the mention of Colonial Marshals... Outland immediately springs to mind (a film loaded with potential, but never really mates with its concept).
Add the W-Y logo to stuff in that film and it's a perfect fit for the rpg.
