Tabletop Miniatures

Wed 31 Jan 2018, 02:43

I don’t know about you guys, but I am already starting to put together miniatures for gaming in June. I am wondering if anyone else has any ideas for wolfkin? Who manufactures a “wolf man” or “wereman” equivalent of a wolfkin? The Reaper “Kitsune” seems a little smallish.
What about riders from Aslene? What does an Aslenian (?) look like? Are they barbarian? Rohan-like? Bretonnian-like? What are you fellas thinking?

For the feel of the game historical miniatures my be the way to go. They are more in line with the low fantasy of the forbidden lands. If your looking for better castings of historical miniatures.
This place has a lot of items. Gripping Beast dose a very good job on historical miniatures. Now for the different races that my be harder to come by. Any thing other then Dwarf, and Elf are vary few and far between.

You also my want to try. They are a true 25MM so when compared to reaper they are smaller.

This one you just need to make sure you have a large enough order to do international shipping if your in the US.

If you still can't find what your looking for you might ask over here. They have a extensive list of manufactures of miniatures. I have spent days looking at miniatures from various manufactures. I highly recommend asking around "theminiturespage" if you don't know the company. It may save you from making a costly mistake.

I don't have a miniature problem as you can see.
Edit: Hfminis are true 25MM as well. So they are smaller then reaper.

Diesel: My inspiration for Aslenian riders are mostly scythians and parthians with colourful clothing. Not saying they look exactly like this, but something of the sort.

Brior, your parthian link is returning a 500 Error.  [EDIT] Found the image, and have uploaded them both to my website for easy viewing, see below.

Just want to thank Calagnar for the link to Oathsworn minis - those are beautiful! Exactly what I need.

Time to start building cardboard dungeons again...

Great links! I forgot about Stonehaven and will look there. The wolfkin will be a tough race to use minis for. May have to use those Reaper kitsune....

Yes I could see Parthian or Scythian influence. Maybe even Dothraki from GoT.
