I noticed that some of the heavy weapons have the property 'Bulky' and the description says that they require a weapon harness, however I haven't found mention of a harness anywhere in the equipment lists - have I gone blind, is it a special piece of equipment does it just refer to some sort of generic shoulder sling?

Armour with Reinforced exo servos should do the trick, i guess.

You haven't gone blind, it seems to be missing. The only function of a weapon harness is to negate the effect of "Bulky". It should cost 200 birr. It looks like the harness the colonial marines use in Aliens. Doctor KoT's suggestion also seems good.
