Salam, spacefarers.

There is ion missiles on p. 150, and i don't get it. According to characteristics, its got to be either
1. "Light ion torpedo", wich means that they are:
  • moving 2 CU/turn:
  • must be launched whith torpedo system:
  • can be shot and countermeasured, just like any other torpedo,
or
2. megafast missile launcher, wich works like single-shot cannon,
or
3. "light ion cannon", with wrong price.
or
4. "ion mine" (by the way, rules do not specify how to use mines too)
or
5. it should not be there at all.

Can someone please clarify this?

Option 2 fits best. It's similar to torpedoes as far as damage goes, but it's only functional at short or closer range (and does not include travel speeds). The cost does not reflect individual shots like the torps do, and all references to countermeasures/defensive fire manage to leave these out, so I'd say fast firing single shot weapon system much like any of the other wp systems available.

That's right. The weapon is described on page 149: "A missile that on impact delivers a powerful ionized discharge. Deals equal damage to both systems and hull."

Despite the word "missile", this is not a torpedo but works as a normal weapon.
