I was looking for a sound that could be used for the three cooling towers : "It started like a deep vibration in the ground that slowly rose to three horn-like blasts, followed by a drawn-out echo that reverberated accross the landscape" (P10)

It's not perfect but here is a start (it should be a little scary for story purposes) : 

Check out the sound used in Half-Life 2, just before the "tripods" attack the city center and you only have a tunnel to hide in, and a rocket launcher, if I remember correctly. 

Stress-inducing.

I tried to find this sound on youtube but no success. I will work with the one I gave for now.

That haunting sound was used with great effect just prior to this scene and was really frightening.

Nice but very short. Listening to it, it makes me feel like whale song but I didn't find one that really matched or easy to use.

I think that I will keep the one I gave because it will be easy to loop it.

I believe that the tower soud had to be a white noise sound, not anoying or hard. Maybe some like this :

It could be a solution but according to one of the story in the Tales From The Loop artbook, the sound of the cooling towers appeared to be quite terrifyng.

Maybe we will find the right sound for the cooling tower in the playlist from the kickstarter.
