Stats for a Giant Required

Loremasters,
during the next travels, the player-heroes in our TOR group should encounter an evil (Shadow) Giant who roams free between Sarn Ford and Tharbad, gobbling up what is left of livestock in the area and destroying isolated farms, sometimes capturing human farmers, dwarf traders and Hobbit travelers to bring them to the East and earn a reward from Orc captains. He is tall, several dead horses are dangling from his belt and he sometimes carries a cage on his back to incarcerate his poor victims.
So the plot for a micro adventure during traveling is ready, the rumours about his misdeeds have reached the ears of the traveling heroes, the miniature is meticulously painted - but since Tolkien apparently never had a Giant described in his works (I strongly assume), I can't find any stats on such a creature, not even in the CircleofNoms Adversary Compendium.
In case anyone has a good stat block for a Giant at hand, I'd appreciate a hint. I deem it too simple to use the stats for a strong troll. And would a Giant have fell abilities?

Why is using the Great Cave-troll statblock too simple? Seems to fit well, at least until we get an official statblock...if we ever do.

Linklite,
thanks for the quick response. Well, probably I'll use the stats block for the huge Cave Troll then, fair enough. Still I wanted to throw a Stone into the pond here, simply because a Giant and a Troll are such distinct creatures.
I assumed it was just my lack of Middle-earth lore and / or creativity that let me hesitate to copy and paste the Troll statsblock for the Giant. But if that is the solution, in particular after having consulted the Loremaster community here, I am totally fine with this.

I'd replace the Distinctive Features. Possibly remove Thick Hide.

I'd look at maybe adding Fearless (Intimidate Foes requires a Magical Success), Great Strength (Spend Hate/Resolve to render a Protection Roll Ill-favoured) and Long Arms (attack a Player-hero in any Stance).

My impression from Gandalf's mention of friendly giants is that they'd be Resolve rather than Hate.

I'm not sure what other changes there might be to make them more "giant-like", short of creating new Fell Abilities.

That sounds good, reminds me on Nelly from A Troll Hole in TftLL, only that the Giant surely has no issues with sunlight and wasn't evil from start but was capable of understanding the tragedy his kin endures (being lonely, rejected and feared by most humans etc.), being lured on a shadow path to then become a tool of the enemy.
Thanks for reminding me on that Gandalf note concerning friendly Giants. That opens up a door to having a benign Giant entering the battle scene, siding with the heroes, maybe because he despises the evil behavior of the other (Shadow) Giant... this might be necessary, because I don't want all the heroes being killed by that micro adventure during the travel phase. And maybe the friendly Giant even becomes an ally.
