Battle Against Fairies

Hello again.

I have a question about how to use fairies in combat.

The bestiary description states that, in combat, fairies act as a swarm, but the fairies’ stats are for a single creature (or so I think).

How can I create a swarm of fairies? Do I add up the HP and happiness for each fairy, or do I use them individually?

Thanks.

P.S. I know fairies are meant for playing pranks and causing mischief, and that combat is secondary, but it’s still a possibility, and I want to be prepared.

I think it's an errata and should be Flock, not Swarm. According to the text it looks like they work similar to how harpies work and they work in flocks.

That means that each fairy has its own init card and HP but they act as a flock and roll together on the monster attack table on each init card activation. They will retreat if half of them are dead.

I have asked FL about this for confirmation but it is summertime so it may take a while before we got an answer.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

It makes perfect sense that they would act like harpies. I suppose that, rather than fleeing when their HP drops to half, they’ll flee once half of the fairies have been defeated.

Best regards, and many thanks for asking FL.
I’ll await their reply.
