What exactly do you think happens, or would happen, to a Spertus if its third owner dies?

I think if the third owner dies, that will also make the Spertus to shrivel and die.

So does a Spertus categorically*not* kill the third owner? I was writing a mystery with one and had the third owner dying because of it... Might need to rewrite that if that's the case.
