The siege of Rath Sereg as an Skill Endeavor

Dear colleagues, only now, at the end of April 2025, has the Brazilian publisher released Tales from the Lone-Lands here. While reading the adventure Wonder of the Northern World, I noticed an interesting change in the final section, which covers the siege of Rath Sereg: the battle between Dwarves and Orcs is structured as a Skill Endeavor Daunting (Resistance 9), with a time limit based on the remaining hours until nightfall.

Player-heroes can use some skills depending on the situation: BATTLE, to assess the enemy's disposition and strategy; ATHLETICS, to scale the walls; AWARENESS, to detect enemy movements; and even SONG or ENHEARTEN, to rally the fighters when fear threatens to overwhelm them. Combat proficiencies can also be applied, depending on the context of the action.

In the original English version, this part is presented simply as a sequence of siege and battle events, suggesting it should be handled more as role-playing. Personally, I found the idea of turning this moment into a Skill Endeavor quite creative.

What do you think about this change in the local edition?

PS.: Unless the English pdf I have is not the most current

You probably have a beta version - my PDF has it as an Endeavour.
