This was a question that kinda punched me in the face and I had to essentially argue for some suspension of disbelief.

Anyone written any descriptions or explanations of it?

I started with the visualisation of the Protomolecule in The Expanse TV series. I kinda want something different though and I don't grok how birds come into it.

I'm guessing that's part of the meta plot we will have to delve into (pun intended) as more material is published
