Hello!

My group will begin the third chapter of the Tale of the Mountain that Disappeared. They have started talking about going up to the Abisko mine, after scenario 2. How can I justify the Norway trip in a nice way? Feels a little stiff.

My group also thought about going to Abisko at then end of scenario 2, but I pointed out (strongly) that the winter was closing in early in Upsala (end of October) and reminded them that Abisko was inside the Arctic Circle, now completely snowbound. Winter had come early and Hard that year. I then gave them a winter period as downtime to gather their thoughts (they knew they would get an invite to the Abisko Research Centre when it opens) and Sigrid Magnusson told them that operations at the mine would be closed down for the winter.
this stopped them form travelling north, so that they would be ready for the events in the Spring of the third episode.
