It would be great if the maps (right now looking at the Moria maps) had the numbers and other marks just outside the rooms and corridors. That way we could use the maps in vtt's for references for the players. A pictures worth a thousand words.

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader (maybe other pdf readers too) you can copy/paste an image from the pdf. The numbers are not copied, so you only get the map itself.

Is there any other better software than adobe acrobat?

I use Token Tool 2 to extract images from my PDFs. Then I use the Pixlr website for any image editing (usually cropping/joining) I need to do. The results are certainly good enough for VTT use.
