If the Kid rolling fails his roll or wants more successes, can the Leader of the kids give dice from the Lead dice pool to roll after the roll see if one of them gives the needed success?

Pushing is a re-roll of the original check sans 6's, you therefore cannot add bonus dice after the fact.
