Jared Blando drew the map for the Cubicle 7 2nd Edition of The One Ring that was canceled. Until recently, only low-res versions were available, but he is now selling it on his website.

I am planning on running The Darkening of Mirkwood with 2E so I needed a good map of Wilderland, and this is perfect. I keyed the whole map for use with 2E. I obviously can't share that here, but I am sharing the hexes I made. You can get them here.

You can use them with Blando's map yourself using the following steps:
1) Buy Blando's Map from him.
2) Download the Hex.
3) Open Blando's map in a program like Photoshop and put the hex in a layer below it.
4) Make Blando's map black and white, put it on 75% opacity, and put the layer on multiply.

The folder also has just the hexes if you want to do the coloring yourself.

You can then crop it to the section of Middle Earth you want. I, for example, did Wilderland.

I really liked that map, even more than the ones used by Free League. I wouldn't mind a nice physical copy of it, but I guess that isn't possible at this time (other than printing the file at home).

Hmmm, so he does. The price is a little high, I might have to wait a while! My only criticism is that I think he made the region covered by the Brown Lands a bit too broad, extending too far to the east.

That is close to what it would cost to print something that size yourself.
