A Couple Of New Spells

Hello All. I've been working on slowly expanding the tradition spell lists and thought I'd share a couple of new ones.

The first is based upon "chaos sphere/bolt" from D&D, the second is using a monster ability and morphing it into a spell. Both are sorcery spells and both probably best used with evil NPC/Adversarys.

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

CHAOS ORB
Tradition: Sorcery
Components: A symbol of chance of chaos.

You hurl an undulating, warbling mass of chaotic energy at one creature in range.

Novice Active. Make an [Accurate←Quick] test against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1D8 damage. Additionally, roll a D8 and consult the table below.

D8 Damage Type
1 Acid: The target takes 1D6 additional acid damage for 3 turns (armor applies)
2 Cold: Any target hit by this attack, regardless of damage done, but succeed at a Resolute test or be paralyzed with cold and unable to take any actions. They may make one test each turn to break free.
4 Force: The target hit by this attack must pass a Strong test or be tossed 3D10 meters away and then pass a Quick test or fall prone.
6 Poison: If the attack does at least 1 point of damage, the target suffers an additional 1D4 poison damage for 2 turns.
7 Psychic: This attack does no base damage from the initial attack and instead does 1D6 damage to the targets Cunning.
8 Corruption: If the attack does at least one point of damage, the target suffers an additional 1D4 temporary corruption.

Adept Active. As Novice, but the base damage is now 1D10.

Master Active. As Adept, but now the mystic may use a [Resolute←Quick] test against the target and the base damage is now 1D12.

CORRPUTION DAGGER
Tradition: Sorcery
Material: A silver dagger (stiletto, knife, etc..) that has taken an innocent life.

The darkness bound to the weapon causes corruption, a most foul power indeed.

Novice Free: A foul, unnatural darkness covered the blade of the novice’s melee weapon like tar, dripping and oozing with corruption. A victim who suffers at least 1 point of damage from this weapon also suffers 1D4 temporary corruption. The effect lasts for the duration of the scene.

Adept Free: Like the novice ability, but a victim who suffers at least 1 point of damage from this weapon also suffers 1D6 temporary corruption.

Master Free: Like the novice ability, but a victim who suffers at least 1 point of damage from this weapon also suffers 1D8 temporary corruption.
