Fast Shooter talent question

Hi
In the last session, I had a question from one of my players who learn Fast Shooter level 2. He tried to RUN and SHOOT at the same time - he run from one Zone to another which increase the Range of his target from Short to Long and also want to shoot at his target - from which Zone he should do this? From the one he started his RUN, ended his RUN or anyone he choose?

It is up to him to decide where he actually takes the shot. The talent just gives him a bonus Run action when he Shoot.

IMHO, logic tells (me) to go with the longer distance: the PC is running (away from the target) after all, and to remain at the short distance zone the PC should just stay where he/she is. Would also mean that running towards the target should grant the shorter distance upon shooting.

One more question here
If the character has a Rank 3 Fast shooter talent it means that he can do RUN and SHOOT in the same fast action twice in the round, right?

Running takes a Fast Action, and the PC can the shoot once while running (either as a Fast or Slow Action). You might only shoot twice when the PC stands still. No aiming, though (because this requires another Fast Action).
A Hunter might, though, spending a WP, make a second shot after running during a round with Path of the Arrow 2, after all other Actions have been spent.

Yes.
