Either Eastern Europe or Asia (India, Japan, China and Korea)

Rumour mill says Eastern/Slavic Europe is the next in line... Nothing new in that direction seen from Egerkrans though, except some North American vaesens.

Probably hard to do, but something in Australia or New Zealand which brought through the pre-colonial cultures and their beliefs, plus things inadvertently brought by Europeans, would be fascinating and atmospheric.

This might be close to the nordic as it will include some of it.. But what I would love to see is an Arctic / Pan arctic book. Yes including northern Norway, Sweden and Finland. Bu also Spitsbergen, northern Russia/Sibir, Alaska, Canada and Greenland. there's a great deal of lore from diverse cultures that has the arctic common. months of complete darkness then months of sun would be an interesting "season" shift in the game. the investigators might turn more into explorers or adventurers because of traveling - but they're on the frontiers against the vaesens at the edge of the world.

Great idea! This could perhaps be handled by an adventure/campaign book to the core rules, covering an exploration of the region, rather than a stand-alone region book such as Mythic England.

I really love the whole concept behind Vaesen, and the artwork is a big part of that. I have the first three art books Johan Egerkrans has done, and I really enjoyed the fact that The Undead covered several different regions....

This is what Vaesen needs.

A general European/Slavic/Mediterranean Bestiary.

Give us a half dozen highlights for the various regions. Then the region guides will be for the more obscure vaesen and starter adventures.

Trickling things out in various regional supplements is just taking wayyyy too long.

If Free League does an American setting I would love to have it in Appalachia. There is so much myth and folklore in those dark hills that it would be a great Vaesen book.
Gotta second this one, being from the region.

North America or even South America is an obvious choice because the American/ Canadian market is highly sort after. East European would be interesting but I wonder if it would be too much like the Witcher. Vampires are cool though, even if they have been done to death, but they will be compared to Strahd. Japan has a rich tradition of Yokai too. I would stay away from a regional sourcebook and focus on mysteries or campaigns that incorporate different regions. For example, five places in the Mediterranean, ending with a Djinn in North Africa. Or something from Atlantis. Also, a source book that is more inward-looking is needed - flesh out rival societies, local encounters, the the other HQ. What happened to the old society 10 years ago?!? Add depth rather than girth.
