The prophecy

I'm new to Coriolis and I'm a little stuck on part of my character background. I went for preacher and my sub class is a mix of Ascetic and Prophet. I took the item 'written prophecy'. Not knowing the background super well I have no idea what that prophecy could be, so I would really appreciate some guidance from people who have a good grasp of the setting. My GM might come up with something but he's also fairly new to the setting. Its very likely one of the published scenarios would be the perfect vehicle for tying in with it so if anyone has a suggestion for that I can pass that to him that'd be helpful too. (no spoilers though!!)

My character was born rich and privileged, he was academicaly gifted and entered the priesthood. He was mentored by a missionary who was also a scholar poking around in old ruins and the like. This scholar stumbled on 'something' that sent him a little batty and he started having visions. His pursuit of the prophecy led to his death (or a serious illness that incapaciated him). I vowed to continue his work to either fulfill or prevent what he prophecised.

I have been travelling in the guise of street peddler of blessed trinkets while also gathering information to locate the focus of the prophecy. Avoiding those who are opposed to it (or possibly the reverse, depends on the prophecy). When Ive felt safe to do so Ive dropped the persona and revealed myself as educated and higher class (or when Ive needed to, usually to gain acess to libraries/private collections etc)

If it helps my skills are Manipulate, Culture, Survival and Observation ( i also put a little in Melee Combat). My icon is The Faceless. My class talent is Trinket Maker. Our group is Free Traders and I'm the peddler of the group.

Hi, sorry for missing this, or i wouldve replied earlier!

I know of a prophecy that ties very strongly into the Mercy of the Icons campaign, if you would like to heavily pursue the main plotline of it i could write it out as a prophecy for you, if you like.
