Hello everyone,

I have a question about artefacts, I see there is a "Required DEV" field below the description, I'm guessing it means the PC that picks up the artefact can't use it if the ark's DEV don't meet with the required DEV of the Artefact ?
It seems obvious but since it's not really written anywhere in the PDF (as far as I can tell), I wanted to make sure I understood that right.

The only reference I could find was on p52 on the Comprehend basic skill:

Roll for Comprehend when you want to read an old text, know what a particular ruin was used for, or understand and use an artifact whose DEV level is higher than the Ark’s.

So if the Ark’s DEV level equals or exceeds (good luck with that?!?) the Required DEV of an artifact then the PCs wouldn’t have to roll Comprehend to know how to use it.
