About a month ago I put my name down to join the organised play group, but have heard nothing back. Has this program been closed to new entrants?

Yes, we are still active! When you sign up you should get an autogenerated e-mail welcoming you. Did you receive such an e-mail? Then you can repport when your GMs games at event at this form: https://forms.gle/83Q5rd6CTmWXvuMv8
Reply on that happens manually and can take a while, but will come.
