The First Age

I have always thought it would be cool to run an adventure in the First Age. Does anyone else think it would work?

Great idea, I think this can work well.

I'd broadly do the same - turn things up to 11 for various cultural virtues/blessings, maybe grant PCs two attacks at Valour 2 etc and increase the engagement limit to 4. Same broad rules framework just with things amped up for a heroic scale! Easy to map various cultures to First Age equivalent (linked document has some suggestions). :)

Wow! that homebrew collection is sforthythian. Maybe the rangers could become the Edain, the Elves of Lindon could be the wood elves, and high elves could be, well, high elves.

Definitely need more Balrogs and Dragons.
