I want to start up a Forbidden Lands game but to get started a ordered the big bundle from the latests Kickstarter.
I'm eager to start reading but as I ordered them on the pledge manager after the KS ended I don't have acess to the PDFs (plus I'd rather read the lovely physical books anyway! ).
The latest update said that the books will start printing soon so is there any rough ETA on when the books should arrive at our doors? This month? Next month? Next six months?
Basically I want to know if I should run something else while I'm waiting or hold off until this arrives!

From other kickstarter things usually print to door is somewhere around 2-3 months.

There have been a bunch of print backlogs/slow downs which could still be happening. They get packaged and shipped to distribution centers which then organize them into shipping containers which then reach shipping partners and are then sent to the customer.

Unfortunately that puts me in an awkward position because I don't want to wait that long to start up a game but at the same time it's not enough time to learn and finish running a game....guess I'll just have to run multiple games like the RPG junkie I am!

When will the PDF be made available?

(if printing its done/active, we should be able to play the game now with the PDF right?)

According to them the PDFs released at this point should be the versions going to the printers. They do still contain some errors though what I have seen have been REALLY minor stuff (Sleepy has been called Sleepless in a couple places).

I would say you are 99% likely to be unaffected by any further changes they may make.
