So having read most of the book, i am left with some unanswered questions on the seventh aka worm people.
Its stated(?) that the seventh are the last of the worm people. Why? they had a continent, lands that could sustain large populations.
They evolve in generations(unsure if related to worms actual life span), when they have enough worms(possibly mindpower for their hive mind) most of them die and they evolve to their next stage of life. (Unsure if the state/look of the mother has anything to do with the look of the actual worms). What happens to the mother after this? Cant they just build up the seventh generation again and make a new mother?
The first generations was breed by human druids, so it seems the "mother" is not really need for worm to worm breeding, only evolution jumps.
it says the seventh will die when eight mother spawns a new generation, but didn't the seventh generation already pay the "blood-toll" when the eight mother was spawned? what even happens to "last-gen" worms?
I think its says they never tire or sleep, but Vilhelm spilled the beans while doing dream magic? how did that work. and how did he reach all the way over there.
Are they connected to Purple/abyss/rock worms?(the original reason humans went over the sea) is that related to last gen worms? where they spawned after the failed eight generation stunt maybe? is just cause they are both named worms and it confused me?
GM books says rock worms(abyss worms might not even be the same i guess) comes from the demon flood. Bloodmarch says Kton aka fire wyrms are closely related to abyss worms, but i get the feeling they have been here/there way longer. The great fire wyrm Erinya seems close with Horn, who predates the demon flood by like alot, so what going on here? (pure demon on demon feud?)
Sorry for my unstructured ramble.
Hope anyone might have some answers or theorys, or maybe something else they ponder themselves
