Necromancers and Undead

Mon 07 Nov 2022, 20:33

I assume that having your undead attack as a necromancer is a simple enough task. But does it cost an action to command your undead to attack? When is their turn?

Follow up; if a character killed a boar and then turned that boar into meat and pelt, should a necromancer still be able to raise the boar with their raise dead spell or no?

To my knowledge there are no rules for pets/followers/minions for battle so it will be up to your game master to decide.
I would properly do one of the following myself or both(having had no players using this)
  • Command is either a slow or fast action(leaning to fast), and the minion will do as instructed after your turn has ended.
  • The undead have its own imitative card, and the game master will control it/them, trying to follow what command it was given last. This would make the "smarter" tag more useful in combat.
